I wanted to make a quick blog about my upcoming event which I needed a ball gown. I usually purchase a ball gown from different stores like Macy’s or Nordstrom’s or friends closets but this year I am really was trying out this minimalistic lifestyle. So in otherwords, I don’t want to add new pieces to my closet unless they are absolutely necessary and a ball gown is not essential in my closet. Well at least not throughout the year. So when I heard about Rent the runway website I jumped with joy!

The way it works is

3. Rent for your event.

So I have to say, it was pretty darn easy to rent a gown. They even let you rent two more dresses along with accessories. I can’t wait to update this blog with pictures of the dresses I rented.

update: here’s my dress

I ordered a black dress in regular height because that’s what I normally wear but it was too short on me. This dress was long and I kept pulling it down. But other than that the dress was comfortable. I would suggest to read the reviews before choosing the length size or dress size.

I also rented the earring and bracelet cuff.
